Using SunUp's 5-Day AQI Forecast
SunUp provides both UV and AQI forecasts up to 5 days ahead, allowing you to plan outdoor activities around both factors simultaneously. This is particularly valuable for planning weekend activities, outdoor events, or athletic competitions. The forecast shows hourly UV and AQI predictions side by side, making it easy to find the windows when both are favorable.
Try it in the app:
Swipe right on the SunUp dashboard to access the forecast view. Toggle between UV-only and combined UV + AQI views. Look for the windows where both show low/good readings.
Pro tip:
For outdoor athletic events or important outdoor gatherings, check SunUp's forecast 2-3 days in advance. Both UV and AQI can be predicted with reasonable accuracy at that range.
