Set Duration and Location

Duration matters because UV damage is cumulative during an exposure session. 30 minutes at UV 8 is very different from 3 hours at UV 8. SunUp uses your planned duration to tell you whether you will exceed your safe exposure time and by how much — and recommends reapplication intervals accordingly. Location matters because UV varies significantly by geography, altitude, and microclimate. Enter your planned location if it is different from your current position.
